One of the most competitive market in the Alps, the summer saw the launch of Luxury Chalets Chamonix the latest in a long line of ski chalet sites, although in this example one aimed at the higher end of the Chamonix ski chalets market.
In terms of Chamonix, the valley this weekend saw snowfall down to 1,200m as the Arctic winds pushed temperatures lower than the seasonal norm. Whilst next week temperatures are expected to return to low teens, the next couple of days are expected to remain overall cold.
Fingers crossed that this bodes well for the forthcoming ski season.
